Imagining Chicago’s Transit Future

On April 3rd, 2014, Chicago-based transit advocates launched Transit Future, a plan to secure Cook County’s largest investment in new public transit infrastructure since 1947.

Led by the CNT and the Active Transportation Alliance, Transit Future offers a bold vision of what an expanded transit system in Cook County and the Chicago region could be.

This video, from the April 3 launch, features Cook County President Toni Preckwinkle, Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, Former Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, and Former Santa Monica Mayor Denny Zane.
