- Community Energy Cooperative reduced its 1,500 members’ energy bills by 10%
- Greenmapping.org is now interactive & includes more of the Lake Michigan and Illinois River watersheds

- by the U.S. Green Building Council with platinum-certification of our green office building
- in the book and PBS series, Eden�s Lost & Found
- with a Chicago Innovation Award for the Energy- Smart Pricing Plan (ESPP)

- organized the Housing + Transportation forum to discuss how housing & transportation affect overall affordability in the Chicago region
- brought smart growth initiatives to Chicago’s south suburbs
- developed & implemented Transopoly?, a new planning game which helps participants prioritize transportation

- with Reconnecting America, Center for Transit-Oriented Development & The Brookings Institution to present & publish a brief on a new information tool, the Housing + Transportation Affordability Index
- with the Center for Housing Policy in studying how working families often spend as much or more on transportation costs than they are saving on housing when they move further from work to afford housing
- with the Clinton Climate Initiative & ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability to create greenhouse gas measurement tools for the world’s largest cities
