A Green and Platinum Celebration
CNT had a wildly successful gathering on February 28 to celebrate the “platinum” designation of its office by the U.S. Green Building Council. Over 300 people came out to celebrate with us and hear Mayor Richard M. Daley talk about his efforts to green Chicago and congratulate CNT on its role in helping him do this. Alderman Manny Flores also presented CNT with a Chicago City Council Resolution acknowledging CNT’s efforts to promote a more sustainable Chicago. After the official remarks, guests enjoyed hors d’oeuvres and beer from several local neighborhood businesses, and a signature cocktail, the very popular CNTini, a basil-infused martini.
