Illinois Transportation Legislation

LEGInfo.org is an excellent resource for pending Illinois legislation. The Chicagoland Transportation and Air Quality Commission has a bill tracker through LEGInfo.org to monitor legislation relevant to the coalition.

Two bills were introduced into the Illinois General Assembly in response to the public’s demand for policy change in transportation planning. They are Context Sensitive Design (HB3061) and Safe Routes to School (SB1186).
