BUILT in Cleveland
As part of the Broadening Urban Investment to Leverage Transit (BUILT) In Ohio partnership with the Office of Ohio Governor Ted Strickland and leaders in each of the three regions, we explored the impact of recent urban development patterns and identified key market opportunities in transit-oriented development and cargo-oriented development that will keep each region economically competitive.
Madison Bus Rapid Transit
We were awarded a contract to manage a market assessment of the demand for real estate in Dane County, Wisconsin by the Capital Area Regional Planning Commission, supported by the HUD Regional Sustainable Communities Grant Program.
Memphis Blueprint for Prosperity
We designed economic development strategies for Memphis Mayor A C Wharton’s Blueprint for Prosperity, which aims to reduce poverty in Memphis by 10% in ten years.
California TOD + GHG Analysis
Our research helped make the case that building affordable housing near transit can significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions from automobiles.

Priority Development Areas offer a targeted strategy for capitalizing on existing assets, like transit stations and walkable downtowns, to foster sustainable economic development.
Chicago Climate Action Plan
We led the Chicago Climate Action Plan’s mitigation research team to help the City determine the best course of action for lowering Chicago’s contribution to global greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
Cleveland Neighborhood Climate Action Toolkit
As part of the Cleveland Climate Action Plan, we developed innovative economic development and emissions reduction strategies for the Cleveland Neighborhood Climate Action Toolkit.
